Is this the official WhatsApp Business API?
Yes. Expansio Tech connects through Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API — either by pasting your own Cloud API credentials or via one-click Embedded Signup. We don't use unofficial or gray-market WhatsApp automation methods.
Do I need a Meta Business account?
Yes, a Meta Business Manager account is required to get a WhatsApp Business API number — this is a Meta requirement, not specific to Expansio Tech. Embedded Signup walks you through creating one if you don't have it yet.
Can my whole team share one WhatsApp number?
That's the point — Expansio Tech gives every teammate a login to the same shared inbox, so multiple agents can reply from one WhatsApp Business number without passing around a single phone.
What happens after the 24-hour window closes?
WhatsApp only allows free-form replies within 24 hours of a customer's last message — that's a Meta policy, not ours. After it closes, Expansio Tech prompts you to send an approved message template to re-open the conversation.
Is my data and are my API keys secure?
All WhatsApp tokens, API keys, and webhook secrets are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). API keys have no in-app reveal button — they can only be decoded from a terminal with server access, and webhook secrets can't be recovered at all, only regenerated.
Can I cancel or change plans anytime?
Yes — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from Settings → Billing whenever you like. There are no lock-in contracts.
